""It was too cold on 4 th December. We reached at resort tree fern.the valley in front of the resort was wavy green, and the fog covered the trees. Distant mountains are often hidden in the shadows of the clouds. A sweet boy named Ariyan took us to the log hut. the huts are well decorated with all necessities along with a specious toilet with running hot water, and a very cute balcony. The valley and Kanchenjunga can be seen from the glass windows of every hut. the resort management is quite good. room service was satisfactory. bed linen and blankets also were very clean... the food are fresh and tasty. they serves the morning tea in very beautiful Tibetan mugs the only demerit of the resort is the unavailability of room heater which was very much essential in those December days""

Thanks for all the help you gave us. It was really good experience for us. First the hotel tree fern at lolegaon was an excellent experience though the room was small the service and care of staff made it up. The food here was quite good. Next we came to jaldapara where one of the block were made of wood where you had made a booking but I suggest that you take the wooden cottages which is better in my opinion . then came the resort cacurbari at gorumara the rooms are quite good with a little bit of insects in the rooms. The staff were very helpful and friendly.our jungle safari was excellent. We enjoyed a lot......

" Dear Rajat, Thanks for arranging the North Bengal-East Sikkim Trip. The Driver Mr. Alam who took us to Silari Gaon, RishiKhola and Aritar was really good. He entertained us with his funny but not boring jokes all through the journey till Aritar. From Aritar to Gangtok other driver (some Mr.Prabesh) took over. Slightly quite but gentle and polite. The accommodations (home stay) were good keeping in view the remoteness of the spots. We visited North Sikkim in April 2016 with the help of Paye Paye Travels. The service provided comprised three elements: organising for permits to travel in North Sikkim; organising transport; and arranging accommodation.

The first two went off very smoothly. The permits - despite our late arrival and submission of documents in Gangtok - was on time; the driver, vehicle and quality of driving was also very satisfactory. This was very important since we ascended 18,000 feet to Gurudongmar across (mostly) terrible roads, and had to start one morning at 3.30 am. Had the driver been less punctual, the vehicle less reliable, these adventures could very well have been mis-adventures.

However, where the travel agency really scored was in securing for us accommodation that suited our needs. In two cases, where I specified the properties, the agency got us a better rate than what I would have got had I booked by myself; in two other cases, they introduced us to properties we would be happy to return to!

I am an individual who has travelled a considerable part of the world, predominantly without the help of travel agents, who, I have found to push up costs without adding any real value. I am happy to record that Paye Paye Travels has been an exception to my usual view of travel agents, and we will be using their services again in May 2016, and hopefully, beyond.

Dear Rajat da, First of all I would like to thank you for being in touch with us for the entire trip and inquiring about all of us. It's really hard for me to give a very detailed feedback at this trip as we couldn't visit most of the places due to rains. However in terms of accommodation I really like the time I've spent with my family in Gangtok. In terms of scenery and view I also enjoyed the Ravangla trip but not the accomodation, I do not think it's an ideal accommodation for families with kids and aged people. Overall, transport arrangement was wonderful. As a recommendation, I would request you to kindly ensure that Mishra Ji (in Gangtok) gives a callback to the customers when they are not been able to get back to him. I tried him number of times during my stay in Gangtok when his phone was busy but I never get a callback in return from him. " Having had an amazing trip to Katrain, Himachal Pradesh earlier with them, we had asked "Paye Paye" to plan an itinerary for a South Sikkim trip. Our first stop was Mt. Narsing in Ravangla. Great food, fantastic views and an amazing staff. Rajat had also taken care of sightseeing cabs. So all we had to was look our best and chill (literally)! Next stop was the Bara Mangwa farmhouse - an NGO run homestay. Again, amazing food and supportive staff. And the view of the Teesta from the terrace is worth every penny you spend there. One of the best things about Rajat is that he is a perfectionist. We have had zero complaints, but every day of the trip Rajat made sure he knew we were happy with the arrangements. It also helps that he is extremely polite and knows his stuff. We will be going to the Andamans with Paye Paye next. And I know that it will be a trip to remember too. That is the kind of confidence very few travel consultants achieve. Paye Paye is one of them."

The brief was: to be able to view Kanchenjunga and other peaks from up close, from comfortable surroundings, without checking in to a luxury property. Rajat's arrangements at the Ghonday Village Resort absolutely met the brief. We had stunning views of the entire Range from our rooms, and both room and bathroom in that remote location surpassed our expectations. What also surpassed our expectation was the service quality in the resort, and we will look always look back on this stay as one of the high points of our various travels.

Through a 5 day trip, Rajat was responsible for accommodation and transportation booking in 3 places. He constantly kept in touch to ensure that all the arrangements worked smoothly and was always readily available for advice: whether it was on identifying peaks to places to eat to best routes to take. " I had a truly wonderful Tour (Gangtok, some part of West Sikkim & some part of North Sikkim) again with Paye Paye. This time I was very unsure about my tour as my friend cancelled the trip which we had planned jointly. But my tour guide who is my friend too, Rajat, was exceptional. The night of 25th Dec we spent and the Christmas celebration with camp fire we had there, is for a lifetime memory. The visit to Heritage Naggar Castle and the night stay thereof was also an experience. A lazy morning walk for a few kilometers in surrounding places including Nicholas Roerich Art Gallery and Museum and a drive to surrounding places, temples, Jana water falls was very refreshing and also worth mentioning. We, a family of 11 people, went for a vacation in Rajasthan for one week during Christmas 2017. Paye Paye organized a very detailed and nice tour tailored for us to see the great historical places of India - Jaipur, Udaipur, and Chittorgargh.

It was difficult to plan an itinerary for a family like us as we have people of age group starting from 7 to 67 years, and Rajasthan is a place which is vast and can be very hectic to travel if not planned well.

But, huge thanks to Paye Paye! They had planned it impeccably and implemented it even better to make sure we could see the history & heritage of Rajasthan, indulge in the local traditions & culture and yet, after all those activities, still enjoy ample leisure and luxury.

" Our Fantastic Sundarbans Experience!

Tayler and I had such a delightful experience in the Sundarbans! Rajat and the driver were prompt in picking us up at the hotel and even bought us breakfast and water. Rajat was also flexible in helping us find an ATM on the way to the Sundarbans. On our trip to and from the mangrove, you educated us on the landscape, people and culture of the area west of Kolkata. The boat and crew that Rajat secured for us was more than we had expected and we were treated like royalty! Everyone was so kind and accommodating. The boat was quite comfortable (I remember my nap on the first day!) and the food delicious! Tayler and I are not accustomed to such luxuries, such as the pampered meals, coffee and tea breaks, and all while soaking up the beautiful sights and sounds of the Sundarbans. Our accommodations for two nights at the Solitary Nook were lovely and the food was also very good. The hosts brought hot water to our room and knocked on our door to let us know that our meals were ready in an adorable thatched roof, open-air, dining area.

We toured the Sundarbans education center which was very informative and Rajat had also secured a nature guide, park ranger to educate us on the unique mangrove ecosystem, conservation and endemic, indigenous species. Of course I was so very, very excited about the crocodiles, river terrapins and Asian monitors, which were on display. It is evident that both Rajat and the ranger were quite knowledgable of the habitat. We were able to climb watch towers and see wild hogs, water fowl and many bird species. We also toured an elevated walkway over the mangroves and saw a tiger paw print!!!! So exciting!! Rajat and the park ranger were able to expedite our paperwork to tour the mangroves, and we did not have to worry about researching the procedure - it was all handled for us.

It was such a peaceful experience being on the boat and cruise slowly through the diverse water channels at both high and low tide. The landscape changed so dramatically! We did not see a tiger, but we were more than happy with our experience.

Rajat and the driver delivered us safely to Kolkata and we had another adventure! We were able to board two ferries on both the Hooghly and Ganges rivers to get to our destination. I saw a snake (a Keelback I believe) and we saw a river dolphin!!! We also loved the experience of riding on the ferry with the people of Kolkata; bikes, motorcycles and all! Priceless!

Rajat even went above and beyond by seeing us to our hotel, where we stayed during the wedding, and making sure we were checked in before departing. He made our Sundarbans experience gratifying and unforgettable!

Thank you again so much Rajat for taking such good care of us and opening our eyes to the beauty of India and its people!

"In 2018 summer, we planned a trip to Kashmir. Anyone who is vaguely familiar with the political unrest of the J&K knows how tricky a trip there could be. On one hand, it is one of the most popular places for vacation. On the other hand, one may expect issues related to safety, delays, and in general interesting (mostly unpleasant) times. All the sensational news that are “allowed” to publish in media, gets out frequently. Thus, planning a trip is leads to lots of questions, confusion, and often doubts.

That’s exactly where Rajat was such critical in our planning. He was with us right from the beginning, sharing virtual chats in our long distance planning sessions, understanding what we are after, and delivering when we needed them. We wanted to go places where fewer people want to go. We were not afraid of places with a history of violence. I personally wanted to visit villages close to LOC for my research on the book I just finished. Rajat was patient, knowledgeable, wise, and alert to tell us what is ok to do, and what is not such a good idea, and he was very clear for anything that is remotely unsafe. He was extremely understanding in making the trip itinerary flexible so that we can cope with the ongoing strikes.

Our trip was, at the end, very well organized. We flew in to Srinagar, and then took a road trip to Sonmarg/Kargil for 3 days. The next 3 days were spent to explore Srinagar. The remaining days were based in Aru where we took a day hike to Lidderwat. In all those days we could pause whenever we wanted, we could made small alterations to the itinerary. The people of Kashmir are amazing in general, and the people who work with Rajat in logistics are no exceptions.

We recommended a friend of ours to consult Rajat for their India trip (they are foreign nationals). They were extremely satisfied with their trip to Sundarban. Rajat is very genuine in his passion. He is not just a travel professional, he is a passionate traveler himself. I would highly recommend him."

In the backdrop of ongoing Covid pandemic after spending almost 10 months at our homes we really wanted to get out and spend some time in free air for a few days with family and friends.

Thank you for planning and arranging this Sundarban trip from 30th Dec to 1st Jan. Starting from the Resort Solitary Nook to our boat MV Nabin you took care to arrange all and keep in mind the safety and sanitisation facilities as well which speaks of your commitment to care and deliver for your clients. Food was superb and we also played badminton after a very long time in the resort. We celebrated new year with a bonfire and roasted chicken amidst free air and no mask. We came to normal in our new normal at least for couple of days. Thank you for infusing life to out lives.

Moreover Mr.Rajat Paye Paye (পায়ে পায়ে) called me every day to know whether I am facing any problem or not. He also arranged a very good transport for to and fro Darjeeling.

"My trekking journey stared with Paye Paye with Kashmir Great Lake last year, but when Rajat da proposed to take me to Bali Pass, I was scared initially but ultimately took the decesion to test myself in this tough trek

I would not go into detail of journey here but guidance of Paye Paye was absolutely necessary to complete this high altitude trek.

Bali pass was a tough trek for me, the pass is on 16200 ft, long ascends in high altitude, fear of AMS, at times pretty scary route were enough to frighten anyone but I must admit throughout the journey Paye Paye was with us , starting from perfect arrangements, set up to leading the team .

I am recommending Paye Paye to anyone who loves to travel in a different way or wants to keep his or her first step in any trekking route.

A trip to Andaman Islands: Courtesy Mr. Rajat Poddar, Paye Paye.

"Had a long intention of visiting the Andaman Islands which came true this January.

Thanks to Paye Paye.

Rajat planned our trip with minute details right from booking of very good hotels, Cruises and even local transport in the islands.

We had to pay for food only (Lunch and dinner) at Andamans. Breakfasts were complementary in all the Hotels. Mr Poddar cautioned about the spicy foods in the islands.

Everything went well as per schedule except the visit to Ross Island (due to some security reasons due to the visit of the honourable home minister).

However, we had the opportunity to attend the Light and Sound show at the Cellular Jail which resumed on 22nd January ’23 (It was closed for maintenance work for a few days).

To some extent we were happy! However, nothing is a substitute for the other here! Everything is so beautiful!

The beaches here on each island are extremely beautiful. Calm beaches, wind blowing through the woods, water splashing on shores mildly, the beaches are full of corals (dead), sea shells, tiny conches and small live sea shells! Little birds sitting on the rocks patiently waiting to catch small fishes. The sea water colour astonished us because of its different shades. Turquoise blue, deep blue, sky blue .... which changed with the position of the sun!

Beautiful sun rises, extraordinary sun sets at different beaches— sun slowly hiding behind the small hills, orange sun rays reflecting on the sea water. Just fantastic!

We all got very emotional while visiting the Cellular Jail. Freedom fighters were tortured just for loving their country!

Mount Harriet was a nice place visit in the Andamans. In the scorching heat (though it was January) the mountain top temperature was unbelievably pleasant and the view from the top...excellent!

While returning from Baratang, I had a glimpse of a Jarwa man sitting like a black statue by the side of the driver of a truck. My car driver whispered, “sahib, look beside the truck driver's seat, he is a jarwa”. He told me that nowadays, the Jarwas have become friendly with the locals and also they can speak a little bit of Hindi. This Jarwa man might have established a friendship with the truck driver to ask for a lift. What an experience!

Overall experience—great. Enjoyed our stay at the Andaman Islands.

Had a great experience in Shittong and Darjeeling. Extremely happy with Shittong home stay (Rishan Cottage). Food and Hospitality was excellent.
And in Darjeeling Alice Villa the duplex rooms gave the royal vibes. Also the staffs were great with a beautiful smile always. There food and they made personalised food for us as we had small kids.
Need to special mention about Alam da for his safe and great drive.

"Paye Paye' is a great example of making all arrangements 'virtually'. Having said that, he himself doesn't recommend anything about the trip without experiencing the same on his own. That's the main PLUS while taking suggestions from Rajat. Me and my family with a 4 yr kid have travelled multiple locations through him from north to south of India, where he has always shared the PROS and CONS about any location during plan.

Starting from tour itenary - transport - weather - fooding and logistics available during any specific time of the year - his advice is worthy.

If you trust and rely on anyone's experience and judgement about any travel at any given time of the year - he is best.

"Hi Rajat,

Thank you for arranging our recent trip to Uttarakhand. During this trip our main target was to complete Tunganath Temple, Deoria Tal & Kartik Swami temple trek with my 11 years daughter & we successfully completed all 3 treks. All Home stay & hotels/ resorts were very good in respect of location, view & required facilities. As Tunganath temple closed on 4th Nov, we changed our plan to visit Tunganath temple on 3rd Nov instead of 5th Nov ( previous plan). Thank you to manage this last moment change. Also you helped us to resolve the transport issue we faced due to bad road condition from Sari to Chopta.

Staying at Chopta Resort was a great experiance. We enjoyed the view from the resort & different food items during dinner in such a remote location.
